Students who get a degree or certificate program after high school are much more likely to prosper as adults. For this reason, we want education and training after high school to be affordable and attainable for every child. Washington State’s College Bound Scholarship program will pay for tuition. But not all children are eligible. And tuition is not the only cost. Students must also pay for books, housing, food, and transportation. That is where the Children’s Savings Account Program can help! It can help families aspire that their children will go to college, prepare them for college, pay for it, and feel like they belong when they go.
It may seem like thinking about college for your child is a long time away, but it will be here before you know it!
